History Rediscovered: The Secret Life of Adolf Hitler

It's Okay
It has a lot of film footage I hadn't seen in other documentaries, but it is not 100% historically accurate. I'd say watch it muted so the over exaggerated "It's a bird. It's a plane. It's Superman" sounding voiceover narration, and music can't cause any brain numbing.

Its Good
When watching this documentary, you must keep in mind that was taped and produced shortly after the end of WW2. At that time the information provided was both accurate and new based off of what they had available to them. It is important to not compare this documentary to ones produced in the last 20 years or so.

Interesting original footage
A view belonging to post WWII and what was known or supposed at that time. The narration might be considered typical for propaganda films of that era. The original footage adds the dimension of reality. Not often included footage of Eva Braun lends a more personal aspect. The information has multiple inaccuracies from a historic perspective. The documentary follows Hitler's rise to power and the suicidal aftermath. The 'positive' within this documentary is definitely the original footage.
